For the week of Monday, August 12–Friday, August 16, General Hospital teases bombshell updates, significant warnings, and promised payback! Ava Jerome (Maura West) is promised retribution, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) receives a dire warning, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) gives a startling update!
General Hospital Spoilers: Shocking Updates
After Ava has just obtained her release on bail, Anna calls Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to her office. Still with Anna, Jason looks at Sonny, wondering what he would do next. Knowing full well what Sonny is probably planning, Anna will obviously tell him to stay away from Ava.
Sonny would find himself in a dangerous predicament if he decided to pursue vigilante justice—John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) could easily tighten the rope around him! However, if Jagger is the one who covered Ava’s bail, he’s not exactly in a favorable place with his superiors either!
GH Spoilers: Serious Warnings
The next part of the teaser shows a moving flashback of Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) lying in a hospital bed, and then Carly warning Ava while Jagger stands by. Jagger and Ava are having drinks in the Metro Court bar, and it’s probable that Jagger obtained Ava’s bail.
But Carly sees them and reminds them of the terrible death of Kristina’s child and the fact that Kristina was in serious danger herself!
Jagger’s employers won’t be happy to learn that he actually posted bail for a murder suspect. Not to mention the difficulties he’s already faced because his bags were connected to a murder scene!
General Hospital Spoilers: Promises Of Parenthood Denied, A Couple Grieves
Tajh Bellow’s character TJ Ashford walks outside with a grieving Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), both of them lamenting the untimely death of their baby, who Kristina carried.
A flashback shows Kristina falling into the pool below after smashing through the window of Ava’s Metro Court suite. The newborn girl suffered severe injuries and ultimately died as a result of the impact-induced placental abruption.
Molly tells TJ that she must act immediately to improve their circumstances. But Kristina is ahead of the game already; she’s already asked Sonny to “handle Ava.”
GH Spoilers: Payback Is Promised!
Molly is currently in Kristina’s hospital room, the same location the sisters used to go to receive comfort after the devastating death of their beloved child. TJ stayed at home with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Stella Henry (Vernée Watson), and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) while Molly was out facing Ava in jail.
Molly now appears to be driven by a desire for vengeance against Ava, reflecting Kristina’s emotions as she tells Molly that Ava will pay a price for her deeds.
The unanswered question is how this retaliation will play out: would Sonny take matters into his own hands, or will Molly pursue justice in court, despite her possible conflict of interest? Ava is judged before she ever gets a chance to defend herself in a classic instance of eye for an eye.
